Soho Loft

This combination of two adjacent loft units in a Landmark 1840s building in Soho was driven by the need for efficient, durable and open spaces – spaces that the client wished to be both flexible and serene. In response to these requirements, the kitchen, bedroom and bath areas are configured to maximize the openness of the main living area and the kitchen is open to the large brick-arched windows in the northeast section of the loft. A new wide-plank mahogany floor defines the living room, while large-scale buff-toned stone tile anchors the kitchen, halls and bathrooms. Natural light is allowed to filter through sheer solar shades to all of the main living spaces.
